Scheduling a ride and tracking your driver
Request a ride right now or schedule one ahead of time, then follow your driver's live location, plate, and ETA once you're matched.
Ryde works whether you need a ride right now or you're planning ahead — and once you're matched with a driver, you can follow their entire trip to you.
Requesting now vs. scheduling ahead
By default, requesting a ride matches you with a driver right away. If you know you'll need a ride later — for a flight, an appointment, or an early start — you can schedule it for a specific date and time instead, and Ryde will start looking for a driver as that time approaches.
A scheduled ride isn't guaranteed until a driver accepts it. You'll be notified once you're matched, and you can cancel a scheduled ride ahead of time if your plans change.
Tracking your driver
Once a driver accepts your trip, the app shows their name, photo, vehicle make and model, and license plate — so you can confirm it's the right car before you get in. You'll also see their live location moving toward you on the map, along with an updated ETA.
Contacting your driver
If you need to share extra details — an exact meeting spot, a gate code — you can message or call your driver directly through the app without exchanging personal phone numbers.
