Earnings and payouts

How your earnings add up, where to see them, how payouts work, and the safety rest requirement after long stretches online.

You earn for every trip you complete. As soon as a trip is marked completed, that amount is added to your account and shows up in your Earnings tab.

Where to see your earnings

The Earnings tab in the app shows what's available to withdraw, your total earned, the cash you've collected, your rides today and this month, and your rating. Tap "See every trip" for the full list of your trips. If you also deliver, a separate Deliveries card shows what's pending payout, your fees, Ryde's commission and your net for the last 30 days, with its own Request payout button. Your payout history — what was paid and when — is on the Payouts screen in the menu.

How payouts work

There's no separate step to set up payouts during your application — you add your bank account after you're approved, under Payout details on the Payouts screen in the menu. Once you have funds available, tap Request payout on the Earnings tab; an admin reviews each request, and you'll see the result (approved, with what was paid, or declined, with the reason) in your payout history on the Payouts screen. There's no fixed payout schedule — you request when you're ready and money is available.

Rest requirement after long stretches online

For everyone's safety, including yours, the app limits how long you can stay continuously available to drive. After roughly 17 hours of continuous online time, you'll be taken offline and asked to rest before you can go online again. It's a built-in safety feature, not a penalty — driving tired is one of the biggest risks on the road, for you and for your passengers.
