The Ryde app and website

How the Ryde mobile app and website work together, one account across every role, and how to switch between English and Spanish.

Ryde is available as a mobile app (iOS and Android) and as a web app you can use from any browser. Most people use the mobile app day to day — for requesting rides, ordering food, and tracking deliveries — because it can use your phone's location and send you notifications. The website is there too, and it's especially useful for signing up, applying to drive or open a store, and managing your account from a computer.

One account, every role

You only ever need one Ryde account. The same login you use to request a ride is the one you'd use to order from Ryde Eats, book a home service, or — if you apply and get approved — drive or run a store on the platform. There's no separate app or account to create for each role.

Built for the Dominican Republic

Ryde currently operates in the Dominican Republic, and prices throughout the app are shown in Dominican pesos (DOP). Whether you're requesting a ride, checking a delivery fee, or reviewing an order total, the amount you see is what you pay in local currency.

Switching between English and Spanish

Every part of Ryde — the app, the website, and the tools for drivers and merchants — is available in both English and Spanish. You can change your language at any time from your account settings, and Ryde remembers your choice the next time you open the app.

Your language setting follows your account, so it stays the same whether you're on the app or the website.
