How to pair a counter device with your store and connect a receipt printer.

Any tablet, phone, or terminal you use to run your store — taking orders, using the POS, or showing a kitchen display — is registered as a device tied to your store.

Pairing a device

Sign in on the device as your store, or use a short pairing code generated from an already-signed-in device to add a new one. Once paired, that device can be recognized by your store — which is what makes a staff PIN entered on it trustworthy.

Connecting a receipt printer

Ryde supports receipt printing on supported hardware. Once a printer is set up and connected, receipts, kitchen tickets, and shift reports print automatically from the relevant screen — you don't format anything yourself.

If a printer stops responding, the app falls back to printing from the browser on a paired tablet so a sale is never left without a receipt.
