Managing orders and your catalog

How incoming orders work, how to build and edit your catalog, and how AI-assisted menu import can save you time.

Orders

A new order shows up in your Orders section as soon as a customer places it. You'll move it through the stages that fit your business — accepted, being prepared, ready for pickup or dispatched to a courier — and the customer sees each update on their end in real time.

Building your catalog

Your catalog is the list of items customers can order — each with a name, description, photo, price, and category. You can add items one at a time, organize them into categories, and mark an item unavailable when you're out of stock.

AI-assisted menu import

Starting your catalog from scratch is slow, so Ryde can build a draft for you from photos of your physical menu, a link to your existing online menu, or a spreadsheet — you review and confirm the draft before anything goes live.

AI-imported items always arrive as a draft. Nothing is shown to customers until you review and confirm it.
