Last-mile capacity for logistics operators, on terms we put in writing
Ryde runs an on-demand courier network in the Dominican Republic. Contract our drivers for the zones and hours where your last mile needs more capacity, run through our dispatch desk: GPS-tracked drivers, proof collected on every delivery, and a report every day.
Built for the last mile that goes wrong
Operators lose customers on the final kilometre, not in the warehouse. These are the three failures we are hired to fix.
Failed attempts
The driver waits ten minutes and leaves. On a Ryde pilot the recipient is called or messaged before the driver arrives, and a missed stop follows the retry rule we agree with you instead of going straight back to the depot.
No proof
On a Ryde pilot every stop closes with a photo taken by the driver and the name of the person who received the parcel. Our dispatch desk collects both, and they go into your daily report.
Parcels that go quiet
Every Ryde driver is GPS-tracked while on a job. Our dispatch desk can tell you where a parcel is at any point in the day, and we are building the view that lets you see it yourself.
On the platform today
- GPS-tracked driversLive location on every active job, from pickup to the door.
- Dispatch by proximityJobs are offered to the drivers nearest the pickup, so a parcel is not waiting on someone across town.
- Per-zone pricingEvery zone has its own rate card, so a per-stop rate is a number, not a weekly negotiation.
- Driver cash reconciliationCash a driver collects is reconciled against the platform every day, driver by driver.
Run by our dispatch desk during the pilot
- Manifest as a spreadsheetSend the day's parcels as a spreadsheet. Our dispatch desk loads and assigns them; you do not need an integration to start.
- Recipient contacted before arrivalThe driver calls or messages the recipient before arriving, so someone is at the door.
- Proof of delivery collectedA photo and the recipient name on every stop, sent by the driver to our desk and attached to your report.
- A report every dayDelivered, not delivered and cash collected for the day, per driver, with the proof attached, sent to you by email.

Frequently asked questions
Do we need a customs or courier licence to work with you?
No. Ryde delivers parcels that have already cleared customs. Customs and the DGA courier licence stay with the importing operator; Ryde runs the domestic last mile. Confirm the arrangement with your own compliance team before a pilot.
Do your drivers collect cash at the door?
Only when your contract calls for it. Cash a driver collects is reconciled every day, driver by driver, and the total is in your daily report.
Which cities do you cover?
We operate in several cities in the Dominican Republic and grow zone by zone. Tell us where you need capacity and we will confirm coverage and daily stop capacity for those zones.
How fast can a pilot start?
A single-zone pilot can start within days of agreeing the per-stop rate and the manifest format. We scale to more zones as the numbers prove out.
Need more capacity in a zone this month?
Start with one zone. Scale when the numbers prove out.
