Las Américas International Airport (SDQ)
The capital's main gateway, east of the city on Autopista Las Américas. Around 25 km from the centre — closer to 30 to 45 minutes once traffic is counted. The one destination worth scheduling ahead.
La Isabela International Airport (JBQ)
The smaller northern field used for domestic hops and regional flights. Much closer to the city than SDQ, and an easy on-demand run rather than a scheduled one.
Ágora Mall
On Avenida John F. Kennedy at Abraham Lincoln. Cinema, food hall and the anchor stores — which is why it shows up on evenings and weekends more than any other address in the city.
Blue Mall and Sambil
Blue Mall on Winston Churchill and Sambil on Kennedy round out the capital's shopping triangle. Both have covered drop-off points, which makes them easy pickups in the rain.
Zona Colonial
Calle El Conde, the Alcázar and the cathedral. Streets are narrow and much of it is pedestrian, so pin your dropoff at a corner your driver can actually reach.
The Malecón
Avenida George Washington along the sea. A long address — say which hotel, park or restaurant you mean, and Ryde will hold the exact point rather than the whole avenue.
Hotels along Kennedy and the sea
The business hotels cluster on Kennedy and Winston Churchill; the resort-style ones sit on the Malecón. Both are common pickups for early airport departures.
Hospitals and clinics
Ryde suggests the nearest major hospital when you are close to one. Set the dropoff to the entrance you need — emergency and outpatient are often on different streets.
Estadio Quisqueya
Baseball nights move a lot of people at once. Book the return before the ninth inning rather than after it, and pick a meeting point away from the main gate.

How far is Las Américas airport from Santo Domingo?
Las Américas International Airport (SDQ) sits east of the city along Autopista Las Américas, roughly 25 km from the centre of Santo Domingo. Allow around 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic, and more during weekday rush hours.
Can I book an airport ride in advance?
Yes. Choose “Later” instead of “Pickup now” on the ride screen, pick your date and time, and Ryde dispatches a nearby driver when your pickup window arrives. Scheduling ahead is the usual choice for early departures out of SDQ.
Do I see the fare before I confirm?
